Many people.. be it in the rural parts of our country or the flashy cities believe in a superstition that is; a sack full of rice will be spoilt when touched by women in periods! it will also get spoilt if touched by women after having sex...
The so called living God's, let me not name them.. promote false beliefs.. Lack of authentic religious education, especially belief in d concept of anthropomorphism prevails in our land..
There are tons and tons of problems faced by the population, i.e the common man of our country, especially females..an example is...In several rural families, the females face nutritional discrimination within the family, and are anemic and malnourished...The maternal mortality in India is the second highest in the world.Only 42% of births in the country are supervised by health professionals. Most women deliver with help from women in the family who often lack the skills and resources to save the mother's life if it is in danger. According to UNDP Human Development Report (1997), 88% of pregnant women (age 15-49) were found to be suffering from anemia.... why don't these God men and certain news channels help solving these issues...??? but rather promote themselves and brain wash the illiterate crowds of our land..
